Eventually officers found Brian Robert Murphy, 18, of 7 Joseph Rd. Hopkinton, and charged him with speeding, drunken-driving, improper use of a mobile phone and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

11:54 p.m.: A caller reported that they saw a man dragging a woman out of a car near the state park on Forest Lane. The caller gave the police a partial license plate number and a description of the vehicle. An officer checked the area and could not find anything.  They eventually got in touch with a male owner of a matching vehicle who said he dropped the woman off in Ashland. They spoke to the woman and she was all set.
